UPDATE 4-6-09: Peanut has an appointment at the University of Florida for Friday 4-10-09 @ 11:00 am. Please keep Peanut in your prayers and thoughts. Thank you.
Peanut is a 5-month old Paso Fino colt. He was surrendered by his owner because he has a locked stifle. The locked stifle is due to malnutrition. Peanut is very underweight and unhealthy. He is also extremely wormy. He was running with a herd of horses and they were only getting fed once a day out of one feed trough. All the bigger and older horses were eating but Peanut was not strong enough to get any food.
